When the guests sit around the fire after an excellent meal and chat together, you know that it was well worth the walk up the slightly steep tractor road. Fjellgammen is made up of 3 metre thick stone walls, wood/turf roof, wooden tables and benches with sheepskins.
In the middle of fjellgammen is a large fireplace where the chef from Kronen Gaard prepares the evening's two course dinner. The wine is temperate and the coffee with cognac is of course real coffee boiled over the fire - can you smell it? Fjellgammen seats 15-45 guests and if you only have your suit and patent leather shoes in your suitcase don't worry - we have clothes and shoes for hire. You won't be left to yourselves either, as the activity leaders from Kronen Gaard Hotel stay with the group throughout the entire event.
