'Jærstrendene', the Jæren beaches, is a long-stretch of beach area along the coast of Jæren in Rogaland.
The beaches constitute a characteristic landscape type with important geological, botanical, zoological and culturally historic elements.
The beaches are a leisure area where one can go for walks, sunbathe, surf, windsurf and swim.
